Restaurants and cafes

For breakfast and lunch –

•The station house restaurant (walking distance and just beside the ramps)

•Strandfields (it’s amazing and vegetarian)

•Ballymascanlon hotel

•A91 HQ street food at Cooley Kichams

•Coast & Co – Greenore

For dinner (need to book most sit-in places a few days ahead)

•Fitzpatricks restaurant – 25-minute walk (they sometimes have a courtesy bus that will collect you and drop you back) don’t forget that you can not buzz the gates to be opened from the inside so you will need to show the driver or get out at the gate.

•The old mill pizzeria (opens at weekends) 15-minute walk

• Giovanni’s chip shop (5-minute walk) – just before the ramps, opens from 5pm)they don’t have a card machine cash only and takeaway

•New century Chinese 15-minute walk

•Ferguson’s Bar / they also have a pizza takeaway 15-minute walk

•Ballymascanlon hotel

•The blue anchor

All the above food places is on our road and have outside areas that are dog friendly under the shelter.

Unfortunately, there are no food delivery places.

Just off our road, there is a place called Base camp coffee, it’s beside the lumpers bar, it opens 9-6 and does waffles etc and they have a cafe upstairs called ‘the Summit’

There is a lovely mountain walk from here too.

Carlingford also has lots of food places it’s about a 15-minute drive.
