•The station house restaurant (walking distance and just beside the ramps)
•Strandfields (it’s amazing and vegetarian)

•Coast & Co – Greenore
For dinner (need to book most sit-in places a few days ahead)
•Fitzpatricks restaurant – 25-minute walk (they sometimes have a courtesy bus that will collect you and drop you back) don’t forget that you can not buzz the gates to be opened from the inside so you will need to show the driver or get out at the gate.
•The old mill pizzeria (opens at weekends) 15-minute walk
• Giovanni’s chip shop (5-minute walk) – just before the ramps, opens from 5pm)they don’t have a card machine cash only and takeaway
•New century Chinese 15-minute walk
•Ferguson’s Bar / they also have a pizza takeaway 15-minute walk
•Ballymascanlon hotel
•The blue anchor
All the above food places is on our road and have outside areas that are dog friendly under the shelter.
Unfortunately, there are no food delivery places.
Just off our road, there is a place called Base camp coffee, it’s beside the lumpers bar, it opens 9-6 and does waffles etc and they have a cafe upstairs called ‘the Summit’
There is a lovely mountain walk from here too.
Carlingford also has lots of food places it’s about a 15-minute drive.

Gate codes to enter. Please do not enter before check in time at 3.30 as I maybe out walking my dogs who have no traffic sense! Please watch the video carefully as most people don’t and they can’t get in 😅 the gates will automatically open with the correct code. The key to the beach house will be in the door and the door slides open. On the key, there is a key fob to open and close the gates.

Use logs to keep it going and only light two hours before you intend to use it – we supply two large bags of logs 🪵
In 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘥 there is 𝘴𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘪𝘳𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘴 𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘦.
Please do not let them get wet and put them away before leaving.
We do not allow extra guests, children or visitors on the property – strictly only booked guests.
The hot tub is a heated on a log burner, the log burner is at the back of the hot tub, open the door to light (it’s takes over an hour to two hours to heat, keep the cover on to heat faster.Close the vent on the hot tub fire if it gets to warm or when the fire is burning well.The lights and jets for the hot tub can be turned on from the switch inside the beach house to the right of the kitchen. The chimney on the hot tub gets hot please do not touch it.
Lights will attract bugs so in the evening if you want a bug free sleep keep the doors closed when the lights are on.
Our estate is private, myself and my husband just live here so feel free to have a walk about,visit the stables, meet the horses, swans, chickens and sheep 🐑 both sides of the property to the beach from the road is ours.
Check out is before 11.00 please respect this time as the cleaners will be outside waiting.
